Cyprus is very well known for it's gorgeous beaches and turquoise waters which makes this island a popular choice for a beach holiday.

There are many beaches to choose from, from the beautiful sandy beach at Larnaca Bay to Lady's Mile Beach to the West of Limassol which stretches over 7km. If you like to try different food and drink the Cyprus specialty is Mezedes which is their name for a selection of small dishes shared by the whole table. If you are looking to stay in Paphos, the 3 star Hilltop Garden Apartments are a good option. These one bedroom apartments are well laid out for families and close to shops, bars and restaurants. You will also be in an ideal location for the beach. For a cheap lively holiday we recommend the 2 star Maria Hotel for a budget break . This hotel is just a short walk from the beach and right next door to a supermarket. There is a swimming pool and the rooms are air conditioned - a must in the summer! Or try the 3 star Christabelle Aperthotel in lively Ayia Napa. You will have bars, restaurants and shops close by and the hotel offers good facilities including internet access. You can travel to many Cyprus resorts although most of their best deals centre on Limassol, Paphos and Larnaca.
